The objective of this study was to identify small-grain varieties from existing germplasm that are adapted to low-input/organic environments in North Dakota. Eight seed lots representing five spring wheat cultivars and fifteen seed lots representing thirteen oat cultivars were sown in replicated and randomized, small-plot adaptation trials in a certified organic field. The research was published as an annual report (2002) by the Dickinson Research Extension Center, North Dakota State University.
